Boring?

Well you hear about all these blogger's out there typing away about intersting things...You finally log on and try it out for yourself and then there is nothing. It's a little hard in the sense that you want to treat this like a diary but then do you want everyone to know EVERYTHING? I mean to people want to know how much I hate teeth?
Well ok then. I hate teeth. Seriously hate them. I can't complain too much about my health I don't have cancer, I have all of my five senses but teeth are just the one thing our maker failed on. No matter how many times you floss, how much you brush you will get holes, you will get chips etc etc.
That said, I dont' floss everday, I hate brushing my teeth. I smoke, I drink coke and eay lots of burgers. So maybe it's my fault but take this as my formal complaint.

In other news it's a nice 100 degrees in L.A. today.

FIGHT NIGHT is playing this weekend in Montreal which is sad that I wont' be able to make it but our man on the ground Brett Walkow will be on the grounf representing!!

Wired

Sure ok, I admit it I'm addicted. Due to my addiction I spent about 10 hours in bed this weekend. No, I haven't got a new smack addiction, close, it' s all because of THE WIRE. Season 1 & 2 I saw on tv when I moved here to L.A. Season 1 though I still hadn't seen. Man there is not much better than watching a good season of TV on DVD. From Sopranos, to Rescume Me, to 24 etc etc it seems to be better. Alas THE WIRE is right up there fighting for the #1 spot with Sopranos....if you haven't see it you're really missing out.

Saw Fantastic Four on Sat night at Australian in Film, was pretty average but funny at the same time. At least Julian McMahon was funny afterwards during the Q& A. Magda Subanzski was there also "Hello Sharon..."

When in Rome

Why does such excitment always end in a come down? Life's like that I guess.....

Maybe it's after the RIDICULOUSLY relaxing dream weekend in Palm Springs or maybe it's.....The Trades.

So after years of reading Variety and Hollywood Reporter daily you always wonder, when will I ever see my name in print. Then someone comes to you at 4pm, after I had already read the HR at 9am, and says "Um, nice job getting your name in the HR" WTF!! I thought it was a joke, alas there it was in perfectly black font, on the back page - Luke Rivett. I may not actually be a U.S. Director but I'm surely not going to request a correction. Damn it felt good, kind of odd that you feel validated as an artist by being in a trade paper. Who cares, it rocks, if you haven't done it I highly recommend it.

Shout out to the Studio City Fireworks on July 4 also, how can a relatively small town have better fireworks than Times Square NYE?? Times Sqaure sucks, bring on S.City.
